As host broadcaster, the ABC is proud to present a range of these talks via Big Ideas, where you can watch TEDx live all day.

From 3 to 5pm Radio National's Common Knowledge presenters Cassie McCullagh and Jason Di Rosso will bring their critical thinking and a sense of fun to the occasion, presenting highlights of the talks and meeting the guest speakers, all live from the Carriageworks foyer.

This year TEDxSydney will also host one of 14 global public auditions seeking to uncover new talents, voices and ideas for TED2013. The live auditions will take place at on Sunday, 27 May 2012 and will be co-hosted by Chris Anderson and members of the TEDxSydney organising team.

ABC Managing Director Mark Scott said that the ABC was delighted to partner with TEDxSydney in search of local ideas worth sharing with the world.
