Australian Cricket Captain, Michael Clarke, celebrity trainer, Michelle Bridges and popular TV personalities, Natalie Gruzlewski are the national Ambassadors for this year's OCSOBER fundraising campaign for Life Education Australia.
The high profile trio are encouraging adults across Australia to cut our alcohol for the month of October 2011 and help raise $750,000 for Life Education, so the charity can undertake its health and drug education programs in primary schools with their popular giraffe, Healthy Harold.
Influential support for the campaign has come from the Editors of seven of Australia's most popular magazines who have agreed to become Ambassadors for a sober October.
Joining popular TV presenter from The Circle, Gorgi Coghlan, will be the magazine Editors: Jessica Parry of Cosmopolitan, Kim Wilson of New Idea; Fiona Connolly of Woman's Day; Catherine Marshall of Good Health, Felicity Harley of Women's Health and Ian Cockerill of Men's Health magazines.
Other Ocsober Ambassadors this year include Alex Fevola, Andrew Gaze and Nathan and Hayley Bracken.
