Mums Network is a unique group of business people who support and assist each other to flourish in business and life.
Whether you are new to business or have many years of experience, the Business Mums Network welcomes you to join in, gain knowledge and ideas, share your opinions and get support and encouragement from others who understand your issues and achievements.
Most members of the network are mothers, or mothers to be, although there are dads, grandmothers and women without children as well.
An interactive forum is on the site to allow Business Mums to support and learn from each other in a non-competitive environment. The site provides these Business owners a true networking arena.
For those preferring to get offline, the Network also offers chapter groups, an annual conference, regular seminars in Melbourne and the Business Mums Magazine.
Member Businesses cover a wide range of products and services, including B2B services. Some businesses are localised whilst others have national and even international clients.
Who's behind BMN?
Melissa Khalinsky began the network in July 2002 out of her frustration at not being able to get business support and help without putting her baby son into childcare.
Now the mother of 3 and 5 year old boys, Melissa is even more aware of the need for mothers and business owners to get support and to work together. As Melissa has listened to her members and learnt more about small business in Australia, the network has evolved to suit those needs.
Melissa's aim is to help Business Mums across Australia have a voice and confidence in what they are doing for themselves and for their families.
